The Langeveldt family’s shared passion for performance and racing led to the creation of CAN-SAF Motorsports, an exciting and highly competitive sportscar racing team.
After competing in regional racing for a few years CAN-SAF took a leap of faith and entered the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship in 2007. Their first season was largely a learning experience, entering a third generation RX7 with a rare and powerful 20b rotary engine. The team quickly established itself as a fan favourite with their approachable family atmosphere.

CAN-SAF returned to the Canadian Touring Car Championship in 2009 to reaffirm their position as one of Canada’s top touring car teams. The RX7 was replaced with a freshly developed and highly competitive Mazdaspeed Protege. CAN-SAF delivered numerous wins in 2009 and more still in 2010 - including podiums and wins at high exposure events like the Honda Indy Toronto and the American Le Mans Series weekend at Mosport.
